We’re working with the American Littoral Society, hosting a beach clean up at Manhattan Beach. Join us to collect and catalogue litter and debris, which helps not only to clean up the environment, but to assess the health of America’s shorelines. Register.
Last year 66,830 pounds of debris were removed along 233 miles of shoreline in New York State. This year we’ll take select items and create Trashion, fashion from trash. Join with artist Sina Basila to assemble the ready wearables and for a fashion shoot at the shoreline.
Beach Clean Up: 10am-1pm
Trashion Creation: 11am-2pm
Rain Date is Sept. 30.
