A traveling spectacle in the Mermaid Parade

Join us as part of a plastic trash patch simulation floating overhead with embedded humans and creatures. We seek participants to shepherd the installation along the parade route, bringing awareness of plastic pollution in the oceans to over 800,000 spectators.

Participants will be dressed in a costume made from recycled plastics and carry an umbrella like structure with dangling plastic items that altogether create the trash patch environment.
