Plastic People of The universe

Movement becomes a modeling device to illustrate the chemical and physical properties of plastics. Paired with humorous text and whimsical video, the work addresses the proliferation of plastics and its effects on the human body and environment. Local dancers can be incorporated into sections of the work and perform with the Company.

A six module, twelve lesson curriculum for middle school students meeting learning standards in science and arts accompanies a school performance, serving as a resource for classroom teachers to engage their students in interactive experiential learning.
