Artichoke Dance presents a roving work that leads audiences through the tumbling journey of the abandoned, discarded and highly mobile single-use plastic bag. The performances take place in the Museum's Courtyard in conjunction with an on-site conversation. Artichoke Dance Company is known for innovative and engaging performances paired with environmental activism, education, community building and civic engagement. The Company's director, Lynn Neuman, is one of the nation's leading eco-artists, has been honored as an Association of Performing Arts Professionals Leadership Fellow and is the only choreographer to receive a Marion International Fellowship for the Visual and Performing Arts.
This performance is included with Museum Admission and will take place in the Museum of Art Courtyard.
